Direct Travel/AllSafe (Allianz)
Section G: Emergency Transport, specifically mentions Repatriation of Remains. They state that they will “arrange and pay for the reasonable and necessary services and supplies to transport your remains” to either a funeral home near your primary residence, or in your country of residence.
Under Section B9 - If you need to be brought home, if “you were unfortunate enough to suffer a serious accident, illness or injury during your trip which resulted in your death”, the medical assistance team will pay for the return of your body or ashes back to your home, a hospital, or funeral directors in the UK.
Section B1 - Emergency Medical and Associated Expenses will cover emergency expenses resulting from your accidental death abroad, including “the cost of returning your ashes home, or the return of your body to your home, when arranged by us.”
Goodtogo (Red Sands)
Policy B, Section 4 - Emergency Medical and Repatriation Expenses outlines that “we will pay for necessary emergency expenses for the cost of returning your ashes home or the return of your body to your home in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or BFPO following your death outside your home country.”
